Blame it on the hats...
from the last three games, it’s this: Fourth of July hats should only be worn on the Fourth of July.
That’s right. It wasn’t the Mets. It wasn’t the mostly cold offense. It wasn’t even Adam Eaton.
It was the stupid novelty hats the Phillies were wearing. I love America, but after those games, I hate those accursed hats.
